Any Society has to fulfill practical and ideological tasks. We are doing so. Even if most of our activities concentrate around the region of Mönchengladbach, there are still sufficient possibilities for cooperation and support wherever one is stationed.
I.Cooperation around Mönchengladbach
- 1. To participate in the meetings of the Society
- To organise the two bazaars at 'Kappesfest' and 'Nikolausmarkt'
- To request Courts/Income Tax Offices to direct penalty payments to the Shishu Mandir
- To select and pack clothes/shoes/school bags for transport to Bangalore
II.Cooperation elsewhere
- to broaden the circle of well-wishers by word of mouth
- To hold/facilitate slide lectures/film show on the Shishu Mandir in schools, churches, Societies etc.
- to facilitate sponsor walks in schools under the motto “Students help students”
- To publish/edit newspaper articles
- to encourage inheritances/anniversary gifts towards the Shishu Mandir
- to organise beneficery concerts
- to organise flee markets
- to produce handicraft works for the bazaars (like greeting cards, knitted or painted articles, wooden Nicolas statues etc.)
- to collect and pack clothes/shoes and school bags for children and youngsters
- to facilitate (free) transport possibilities (by air) for clothes, shoes and school bags
