Our project Shishu Mandir was striving for independence from the very beginning, independence in its concept, independence in the financial support, independence in the execution.
The concept is called big family
The financial support is from private donations
The execution is managed collectively within the circle of responsible persons in both Societies, in India as well as in Germany
In this way we financed all the projects so far, that is two residential buildings, two school buildings and a community college. In this way we also intend to finance all further projects hoping that we will always find sufficient contributors who depose their confidence on small, unaided projects with an own concept.
Whether a donation is given once or in regular intervals is of course left to the decision of the donor. Sponsorships, which usually last for the whole period of school and professional education, should be accompanied by a more personal interaction with the sponsor child by exchanging letters and photographs.
As all members of the Indian and German Societies work honorarily there are no administration expenses within the management of the Societies. Whatever costs may arise for materials and public services are met by membership fees.
In this way all donations are going into the project by 100%.
